For the 2025 edition of FrancoFaune, the brief was clear: break the system and rebuild the visual identity from the ground up. Three studios entered the ring, TönnesDesignCo came out on top.
The direction? Raw, punk, unapologetically free. No boxes, no labels, no clean narratives. Just space for artists to exist as they are. At the same time, the identity had to root itself in Brussels, embracing its surreal humor, its contradictions, its beautifully messy truth.
Tape became a central graphic element, a direct nod to sound engineers and the live scene, bringing in that DIY, rough-edged energy. Around it, illustrations and copywriting inject a distinctly Belgian tone: absurd, self-aware, and slightly off.
We built a complete visual system: custom typeface, bold graphic language, and a full rollout across print and digital. A full-spectrum collaboration, from concept to production, ensuring strong consistency across every touchpoint.
